I used to fall asleep every damn night spooning my macbook.

It was a mindless routine that had me waking up with little sense of direction and major sense of stress.

I couldn't figure out why the hell I was so frazzled and feeling like a leaf in the wind.

Then I started to connect the dots looking backwards (RIP Steve Jobs) and gripped a major epiphany...

If you're reading this, I know you absolutely understand that we're functioning in the most unique of times:

  • Our smartphones have become extensions of our hands granting us with constant accessibility...
     
  • We've got this all-hustle-everything, #teamnosleep zeitgeist most of us (especially my fellow creatives) can't help but succumb to...
     
  • And of course the Internet has absolutely no curfew, making it a non-stop partner in crime.

Yo I always want deeper and I know you do too.

However, this comes with understanding that the way we seal our day directly affects the way we open our day.

Simply put,

let's get our f*cking
me-time back.

Now I didn't craft this Turn Down Alarm to be a lullaby or a sleep-inducing meditation.

This is a personal audio reminder (that I suggest setting to an hour before actual crash time) to nudge you outta grind-o-rama and into recovery mode.

Recovery mode could be: reading, journaling, meal prepping, taking a bubble bath, planning tomorrow's slay day or even making out with a neglected lover. The choice is yours so long as the choice benefits your spirit.

SO IF YOU'RE OVER:

  • waking up anxious
  • feeling fried AF
  • forgetting to schedule room for decompression
